Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-04-10

Kamka is a closed invite-only beta service. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we process it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law.

Who runs the service

The service is operated by an individual developer based in Spain. For any privacy questions or to exercise your rights, write to support@kamka.app.

What we collect

When you sign up and use the service, we store the following personal data:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your profile image (if you sign in with Google).
  • Your birth date, birth time, birth city, geographic coordinates, and timezone.
  • Derived astronomical data calculated from your birth details.
  • Forecast and report text generated for you.
  • AI conversation history from features such as Ask.
  • Your language preference.
  • Your credit balance and bonus credit allowance.

Legal basis for processing

We rely on two legal bases from Article 6 of the GDPR.

  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): processing necessary to provide the features you requested, such as generating your chart, forecasts, and AI responses.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, and improving reliability during the closed beta.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of trusted sub-processors to run the service. Each one receives only the data needed for its specific task.

  • Anthropic PBC: provides the Claude AI that generates your forecasts and answers. It receives the prompts we send on your behalf, which may include your birth details and conversation messages.
  • Google LLC: provides Google OAuth sign-in. It receives your name, email, and profile image when you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Postmark (Wildbit LLC): delivers transactional emails such as sign-in codes. It receives your email address and the email body.
  • Cloud hosting providers: host the application and database. They store your data at rest and in transit.

Some of these sub-processors operate outside the European Economic Area. When that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we will purge your personal data within 30 days of receiving a valid request, except where a specific law requires us to keep certain records longer.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure of your data.
  • Restrict how we process your data.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, including deletion of your account and data, send an email to support@kamka.app. We will respond within the statutory time limit.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD) at www.aepd.es.

Age limit

Kamka is not directed at users under 16. If you are under 16, please do not use the service or provide any personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
