Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They let the site remember information about your visit, such as whether you are signed in. Some cookies are essential for the site to work. Others are optional and used for things like analytics or advertising. Kamka only uses essential cookies.

Essential cookies

The following cookies are strictly necessary to run the service.

  • NextAuth session token: keeps you signed in across pages and reloads.
  • NextAuth CSRF token: protects sign-in forms from cross-site request forgery attacks.

Essential cookies are exempt from prior consent under the ePrivacy Directive and do not require you to opt in. Disabling them will prevent the service from working.

Similar technologies

We also store two small values in your browser's localStorage. These are not technically cookies, but we disclose them here because they are treated the same way under EU rules.

  • Theme preference: remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.
  • kamka_cookie_ack: records that you have seen and dismissed the informational cookie banner.

What we do not use

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking pixels. We do not share any information in cookies with advertisers or data brokers. The service has no ads.

How to clear cookies

You can clear the cookies set by Kamka at any time using your browser settings. In most browsers you can find this option under Settings, then Privacy and security, then Clear browsing data. You can also use your browser's developer tools to remove individual items from localStorage. Clearing essential cookies will sign you out.
